My Story

“I could never be a vocal coach”

I said to myself

The Beginnings

For as long as I can remember, music has been woven into my story. At 18, I packed my bags and moved to Nashville with the dream of becoming a Christian recording artist. Like many aspiring artists, I quickly learned that talent alone wasn't enough. After meeting with an industry manager who believed in my songwriting, I realized that without an established audience, the path ahead would look different than I had imagined.

That journey led me to the stages of Branson, Missouri, where I performed in productions including Shoji Tabuchi and 50's at the Hop. Later, life took another unexpected turn as I became a wife and mother to four incredible children. During those years, I led worship in churches, pursued a Worship Ministry certification through Bethel Music College in Redding, California, and slowly began to realize that God was teaching me something much deeper than vocal technique.

For years, I had unknowingly allowed music to become part of my identity. Motherhood and seasons of waiting revealed that my identity was never meant to rest in what I could accomplish, but in who I am in Christ. Once I learned to hold music with open hands—as a gift to steward rather than an identity to protect—I discovered a new freedom. That freedom now shapes everything I do as a coach.

My passion isn't simply helping singers hit higher notes or expand their range. It's helping them discover the unique voice God entrusted to them. Every voice carries a melody shaped by experience, emotion, personality, and purpose. My desire is to help artists uncover that fingerprint, develop it with confidence, and steward it well.

Professionally, I've had the privilege of training as an associate with celebrity vocal coach Brett Manning, working alongside former Bethel Music members, recording original music with Grammy-winning producer Ed Cash (We The Kingdom, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns), and continuing to learn from some of the industry's finest voices. Yet what excites me most isn't the résumé—it's watching someone who has struggled for years suddenly experience freedom in their own voice.

My coaching is highly personal and diagnostic. Rather than running every singer through the same exercises, I listen carefully to what your voice is communicating and tailor each lesson to what you need most. I love making difficult concepts simple through visual illustrations, practical analogies, and plenty of laughter along the way. Whether we're developing your mix voice, building endurance, refining tone, discovering your signature sound, strengthening songwriting melodies, or overcoming the mental barriers that have held you back, my goal is always the same: to equip you with tools you can understand, apply, and carry with confidence.

I especially love working with singers who feel like they've hit a wall—those who have been told their voice "just can't do that," or who have quietly wondered if their best days are behind them. I believe every voice has more potential waiting to be uncovered, and I genuinely enjoy walking that journey alongside each artist.

Outside of coaching, you'll usually find me enjoying life with my husband and our four kids, reading a good book with a pot of coffee on the front porch, lifting weights, laughing with friends, or wandering the aisles of HomeGoods—my not-so-secret guilty pleasure.

At the heart of everything I do is one simple belief:

Every voice carries a melody only it can sing. So don't be afraid to let yours be heard.

Whether you're stepping onto a stage for the first time, leading worship, writing your next song, preparing for the studio, or rediscovering a voice you've almost given up on, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you find your path, refine your craft, and grow in both confidence and freedom. My hope is that you'll leave every lesson not only with a stronger, healthier voice, but with a deeper understanding of the unique gift God has entrusted to you—and the courage to steward it well.
